Ron Craft

ron craft

National Cotton Council Vice Chairman Ron Craft is a fifth generation cotton producer and ginner who was raised in Plains, Texas. He and his sister own New-Tex Gin Company in Plains, and he is a co-owner of Lov-Cot Warehouse in Lubbock.
  
Ron has held numerous leadership positions in the NCC including service as a director and as a member of its Quality Task Force and its executive and flow committees. He also is chairman of the National Cotton Ginners’ Association and a past president of the Plains Ginners, Texas Independent Ginners and Texas Cotton Ginners associations.

Very involved in his community, Ron serves as a sergeant for the Yoakum County Sherriff’s Department and as treasurer of the First Baptist Church in Plains. He has two sons who reside in Texas – Landon of Midland and Brandon of Lubbock.
