MEMPHIS – Melissa Marek has joined the National Cotton Council’s Communication Services department as Manager, Broadcast Services.
Marek will be responsible for Cotton’s Week on Ag Day, Cotton News Lines and Council and Cotton Council International video projects. Additionally, she will manage several print and communication projects.
“Melissa is a welcomed addition to our staff,” said Marjory L. Walker, director of Communication Services. “Her industry experience, coupled with extensive writing and design skills, will be an added value at the Council.”
Previously, Marek worked at the Cotton Board as Communications Manager. She received a B.A in Journalism from the University of Memphis and is married with one son.
